Photography trained my eye to look for:
• What the viewer notices first
• What distracts them
• What makes them stay
• And what makes them feel something
That same visual intuition is the foundation of great UX.

Here are 3 tiny UX tweaks that can increase engagement by 20–40% (yes, even on an existing website):
1️⃣ Reduce visual noise

We had the privilege of redesigning the historic Deuces Live in St. Pete! This area, located around 22nd Street South and 9th Avenue South, was once the center of black businesses, homes, and entertainment during the era of segregation.

Known as "The Deuces" due to its double 2’s, St. Petersburg’s 22nd Street served as the heart of a thriving African-American community on the South Side. Despite facing decades of decline from the construction of I-275, the spirit of this community remains resilient. Deuces Live is a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing this historic neighborhood, where legends like Duke Ellington and Billie Holiday performed, notable African-American baseball stars stayed, and black residents of St. Petersburg lived, worked, and worshiped.
