Hi, I’m Taylor Smith — a former educator turned digital creator, and the founder of The TTC Agency. I design with purpose, build with heart, and believe deeply in the power of representation — especially in STEM and storytelling.
Growing up, I was that kid who was always asking “how does that work?” — inspired by textbooks filled with vivid images, hands-on projects, and big ideas. But rarely did I see characters, inventors, or creators who looked like me.
So I decided to change that.
Why I Created Tech Is Magic
Tech Is Magic was born from my passion for blending creativity with STEM, and my desire to help young learners — especially Black and Brown children and girls — feel seen, supported, and inspired to explore.
This book is more than activities and fun facts. It’s a love letter to the curious, the imaginative, and the underestimated. It's for every child who dares to dream, build, and tinker with the world around them.

To help kids see themselves as creators of the future — because they already are.
