Our Mission

The Tech Is Magic Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making STEM magical, accessible, and culturally relevant for Black and Brown children.

Through imaginative tools like storybooks, creative coding workshops, and digital learning experiences, we help kids see themselves as coders, creators, innovators, and problem-solvers. Our mission is to build confidence through creativity — using storytelling, technology, and the arts to inspire a generation.

Why Tech Is Magic?

Representation in science and technology matters.

This book was created to help all kids — especially Black and Brown children and girls — see themselves as innovators, engineers, coders, and creators.

With every page, Tech Is Magic blends STEM learning with creativity, helping kids feel empowered to explore the world around them.

Meet Taylor

Hi, I'm Taylor — a former educator, digital designer, and lifelong learner with a big love for storytelling and STEM.

As a kid, I grew up flipping through vivid McGraw-Hill textbooks, captivated by bright pictures and big ideas. Now, as the founder of Taylor The Creator, I use that same spark of curiosity to design creative tools that inspire the next generation of thinkers, tinkerers, and tech leaders.

Tech Is Magic was born from my passion for helping curious kids see the magic in how things work — and believe they have the power to create the future.
