Hey friends,

I’m beyond excited (and a little emotional!) to finally share something very close to my heart- my very first children’s book, Tech Is Magic, is officially available for pre-order!

This project has been a labor of love, imagination, and intention. As a former teacher and lifelong book lover, I’ve always believed in the power of storytelling to spark curiosity and confidence in young minds. Growing up, books were my escape and my spark—they made me feel like anything was possible.

Tech Is Magic was created to give that same spark to kids who are curious about how things work, who dream big, and who may not always see themselves reflected in tech spaces.

🌟 Why I Wrote This Book

I studied at DeKalb School of the Arts, where I fell in love with storytelling. Years later, I earned my master’s in professional & technical writing from Kennesaw State University - and somewhere along the way, I realized: I wanted to create something that helped kids fall in love with learning the way I did. Especially when it comes to tech.

Every page in this book is packed with real-life fun facts - from the invention of the internet to how robots work—designed to feel magical, not intimidating. And every illustration was created with care to show kids, especially Black and brown children, that they belong in the world of technology and innovation.

🧠💡 What's Inside

Tech Is Magic is written for ages 5–9 and includes:

  • 7 fun, colorful chapters of tech facts and storytelling

  • A bonus scavenger hunt that makes learning interactive

  • A big message: You don’t have to wait to grow up to be a creator

Whether you're a parent, teacher, auntie, or community builder, this book is a beautiful way to introduce children to the magic behind the machines they use every day.

📦 Pre-Orders Are Open!

The first 10 hard copies will be printed locally here in Atlanta and include a signed, personalized note from me as a thank you for being part of this dream. Books will ship in about 4–6 weeks.

💛 Thank You

To everyone who’s encouraged me—whether in the classroom, behind a screen, or on this entrepreneurial journey—thank you. This book is for the little ones in your life, but it's also a celebration of what we can build when we lead with heart, creativity, and curiosity.

Let’s show kids that the world of technology isn’t just smart - it’s magical. 🪄

With love and gratitude,

Taylor

Creator of Tech Is Magic
